Giftpup Magento site wins GOLD award for Retail & Ecommerce

Our entry was under the ‘Retail & Ecommerce’ category on behalf of our client, GiftPup.com. We showcased how we managed the relaunch of the personalised gifting website, as well as how we integrated their Magento website with Directsmile - we were the first UK agency to integrate Direct Smile with photo products.

DirectSmile is a enterprise level personalisation and fulfillment / web 2 print software that provides customers with photo-realistic personalised preview images of gifts, whilst generating print-ready artwork for the supplier. This artwork is sent direct to suppliers which means GifPup can remain hands-off through the fulfilment process. We also developed a personal gifting assistant which encourages users to enter the name, relationship and gender of the person they’re buying for, to suggest relevant gift suggestions with personalised preview images.

For the awards we submitted a written entry, plus a presentation on the day (which accounted for 50% of our overall score).

Since the relaunch, transactions have risen by 193% with increased revenues of 220%. Entering the UK Business Awards was a great way to showcase the success our client has seen, and celebrate the project. This is a great achievement during a time where demand has significantly grown in the personalised gifting market, where it has become apparent a more engaging user experience is expected.
